Three on a Bench

This afternoon was busy with birds in the garden today and these three did not seem to mind sharing a table! A  crackle, mourning dove and blue jay! Only one squirrel was was heard barking up in the nearby tree! A lot cooler today as a storm system came through last evening with high winds lightening and thunder. We seem to  have been spared any damage but we heard to the south east of us tree limbs were down and power was out and to the west of us we heard a tornado had touched down. It was quite a drive home last evening watching the sky with the turbulent clouds and flashes of lightning. A number of systems moved through giving us some rain around midnight. The temperature forecast has us in the low to mid twenties for the next week, much better temperatures!
