'Aster'

We had a surprise today...a knock on the door, and two smiley faces. Two lovely people, who live in North Island, New Zealand......over in UK touring and visiting family and friends. We first met Brenda and Mick eight years ago...again a knock on the door and an introduction. Micks Grandfather had lived in our house, and died here in 1944. His memory is from seventy years ago when he was just three. We are all so comfortable with each other and feel like we've known them forever! Life is full of surprises!

This pretty Aster was growing in the grounds of my Mums accommodation...taken yesterday.
