Band of Blippers

Well. We are at it again. The Blackheath Blippers are off on another tour of Blue Mountains sights with a visiting blipper. Here are (left to right) isbi, Trisharooni, Beckett and Philiphoto with (non blipper) Gary. Yours truly is taking the picture.

Spending time with these fine companions is one helluva good idea. They are simply great. In particular, our guests, Phil and Gary were delightful company. They have a pretty busy holiday schedule ahead which is a dreadful shame for the rest of us. They would be welcome to stay a lot longer.

Curiously, just behind my shooting position was the Wentworth Falls fire which has appeared in the news lately. I have published a picture of it as an extra for today. Those flitting insect like objects are helicopters, toting 500 litre water canisters to be dropped immediately ahead of advancing flames.
