The Fort van Sjakoo anarchist bookstore in Amsterdam is a very fine establishment and does the movement proud. The name means "Jaco's Fortess," which is from an sympathetic, fictionalized version of the famous Dutch bandit Jacob Frederik Muller (1690-1718).
The bookstore began in 1977 as a squat, was legalized in 1988, and bought by its collective with massive community support in 2003. I've visited many anarchist bookstores in many countries, and this one stands among the very best of them.
