A heart or two ....

This is a strange picture showing the reverse of a Winter Flowering Honeysuckle branch. Tucked in behind the leaves and hardly visible from the front, are these little red hearts.... the fruits containing the seeds. I thought the fruits had all gone and I was pruning the bush and taking cuttings for my special people when I noticed this last cluster. They were very difficult to capture as they tend to be 'upside down' and did not show the heart shape so well. Also I continue to have problems with my camera and so am having to use my backup little one (which has dodgy batteries!). I have chosen the pic. showing less fruits but with more clarity.

... so A heart or two just for you Wren ..... I felt a bit guilty when reading your comment yesterday that I had not sent love and hugs in my response to you so when I saw these little red hearts shining out under the special tree I knew just who they were meant for .
