Big Sky and Small Shower

A small shower is all that these clouds produced this afternoon.

I am feeling a bit desperate this evening as we just went for a local walk and saw a small fawn (extra photo) that has some open wounds but no mother deer seemed to be in the vicinity. His wounds are covered in flies. I do not know what to do as there are no sanctuaries for wild animals here, the hunters, either fox or human, will no doubt get him in the end. Then I thought of the 3 legged deer that has been living in our area for the last 3 years at least. Perhaps our little fawn will survive too.
