Dancing Darter.

My camera was at the cleaners overnight, dust on the sensor, so I could not go out early without it, could I? Also it has been so hot today that I stayed in to do paperwork till 4pm (feeling self righteous!). A cool swim and dragonfly hunt got me outside eventually!

Thanks so much for the concerned comments about the little fawn, I shall go out later to see if he/she is in the same area. I felt somewhat reassured by several of your comments on the mother returning to the fawn in the evening. I hope you were right. P.S. Saw a female deer in the same area, let's hope it is his Mum!
