Sea Rocket

The perfume from this plant is strong and sweet, easily appreciated even in strong wind. For nearly a year it is invisible but in July and August it quickly grows and flowers in apparently sterile beach sand. Some flowers pink, others very pale pink and a few white. A welcome sight on my evening dog walk.
