long day

This is the view from the carpark of MK Hospital.  A quick blip in-between appointments.  

It’s a long day today - I’m in the cardiology department  in the morning and then the maxillofacial (I don’t know what it means either) department in the afternoon. It must be a new NHS promotion - see two consultants for the price of one.  I come away with a diary full of future appointments.

Then we head into town for tea and chocolate cake and a bit of retail therapy. As Dan and Kelly now occupy the guest room, there’s no spare bed for Ma-in-law when she comes to stay.  So we buy her one that blows up.  (Maybe I should rephrase that last bit).
