Multiverse
Very excited today to photograph at the newly-opened Crawick Multiverse near Sanquhar. This is a major land restoration project by Charles Jencks on the site of a former opencast mine, with astronomical and cosmological themes.
It was going to be my third and final day as Official Unicorn Photographer, but the weather forecast was dire and not good for unicorns. Instead, my brief was to take photos of volunteers from The Stove, the big art project in Dumfries. These young folk are helping out at the Environmental Art Festival which is taking place at Morton castle at the end of the month.
The Multiverse was an incredible place, even in the rain, which certainly didn't dampen the enthusiasm of these wonderful young people. Here they are posing for a (hypothetical) album cover.
What a brilliant day, even without a unicorn...
