Painting?

A full day of visits etc and also shopping, preparing and cooking a meal for a small dinner party for some members of the church tonight. A good evening. 

After they left I tried to finish some urgent work before tomorrow (today). I suddenly realised I only had five minutes left in which to officially take a blip. I grabbed these flowers but they weren't being co-operative (partly because I suddenly realised they were half dead!) Composition not good so a heavy crop was needed. That meant the picture wasn't very sharp so I gave it a post-processing treatment of painting and canvas in the hope of rescuing it and not missing day.
