Low tide at the Cowrie Hole (fisheyed)

I walked out onto the rock platform (without wellies and in the cashmere coat again) and took this shot looking back to the Esplanade showing the Cowrie Hole is it's bare glory.  They surf over those rocks in higher tides.  Makes you wonder how anyone is not injured if they are dumped.   The light on the left is from Newcastle baths and you can see if you look closely some dodgy characters standing to the right who were there last night too.  One of them had parked his bike across two parking lanes but because they were so dodgy I wasn't going to ask them to move it.

The Council have done a lot of work along here as part of the Bathers Way walk.
