Hole in the cloud

I took this looking straight into the sun.I did not see the light spectrum at the base of the hole until I downloaded it. I was quite surprised; totally unexpected!

A better day today, still in the 80s. It seems we may be in for a wetter season generally, thanks to El Niño in the Pacific.
