Great Spangled Fritillary

I think! Had I here all day and didn't get a chance to photograph till late afternoon. He is doing well. There were several butterflies around, some that I have already blipped and I did not succeed in getting this with its wings open. So, I stand to be corrected.

Another warm day and 100°F forecast for tomorrow. Roll on fall! At least in Kansas we can look forward to the next season!
