River Frome and Wareham Quay, early morning

I photographed this from Wareham's south bridge, shortly before the sunlight reached the facades of the buildings, turning their subtle colour shadings to a fierce, implacable white (as seen on the moored boat).

The Isle of Purbeck is now crawling with holiday makers.  By mid-morning a parking space will be difficult to find.
