The Bill!!!

Andy wanted a new suit for a wedding he's going to. His girlfriend would take him round every store in the city looking for the perfect suit. By 'perfect' meaning one she likes him in and not necessarily one that he likes. Mother is still at the stage where she's liable to stick her hand down the back of the trousers to see if there's enough room for growth. He's 22! So we had a bit of a male bonding session. It started with breakfast, a bit of suit shopping that both of us enjoyed and we were able to get one that fitted him without anyone putting their hands down the back of his trousers and a chat over a beer before lunch. It's good to have reached the 'friend' stage of the relationship.

We went to KOFFEE POT on Oldham Street in the N4 where the breakfasts are legendary. Blanched a little when the bill came though for two English breakfasts with mugs of tea and the cost was the wrong side of £4,000!
