Sturgeon Bay

Cold as ice and clear as a mirror. These are the big waters of the "Third Coast".

By the tiny hamlet of Cross Village, Sturgeon Bay unravels like a beach postcard. Miles of sand undeveloped and unruined almost all the way up to the Straights of Mackinaw, where the ancient glacial channels today connect Lake Michigan and Lake Huron to one another.

The Great Glaciers of old still alive in a millions glittering sun diamonds refracted off the waters. An alchemy of ice and water, history and the ceaseless present mixing together in the deep waters.
