I have groupies!

I did an all camp presentation this evening about Science Communication and Photography.

It went really well, and the place was packed. It took me a while to notice though. My students were extra smiley and giggly in the front row as I talked up there, but that is nothing new. And then I finally got the joke. They had spelled out my name on their shirts to support me. Too cute - I've never had groupies before!

After the show they were all to willing to pose for ridiculous pictures together like this. The president of the university, the veritable Mary Sue Coleman even came along for the ride. All six pages of her photocopied and glued together in the front row :)
