Gaynelle's Chair

Our dear friend G had a passion for decorating chairs with her knitting; her daughter has a whole dining room set, carefully fashioned from scraps and love. Although G is no longer with us, her magic lives on. Our knitting group absorbed this unfinished piece when G passed away last year and members have been adding bits for several months. Many of the woven parts are scarves that G herself made. The legs remind me of Polish chickens, or Baba Yaga's hut, ready to take flight.
