Where the wild things are....

Meet Barry the resident gecko at our villa - Barry?  Don't ask!  8 yr old M wants him as a pet.  He lives above the outside light and comes down each night to catch moths.

Day out through the impressive Tramontana mountain range to the sanctuary of Lluc - a self-contained community way out in the countryside.  Extras show the monastery and the countryside around - unfortunately no safe viewing points on the mountain road otherwise my blip would have been of the unusual rock formations.  There are rooms and apartments for rent at Lluc - would make a very peaceful break to stay here for a couple of nights.  37 degrees again today, and nearly no blip after a pint of lager was spilled over the laptop (number 1 son was responsible for that!).  Thanks to everyone for their comments and stars over the last week, and sorry for not commenting on everyone's entries - not the speediest wi-fi around here!
