Singapore Bear

Meet Singapore Bear, a souvenir from a Singapore National Day some years ago. He and son no 2 helped me put together a composite picture (see the extra) to make a congratulations card for Singapore, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary of Independence this weekend. The actual 50th Independence Day is tomorrow. We arrived in Singapore the first time just before the 25th Birthday of the Republic and were lucky enough to experience all the special celebrations then. I would have loved to be there now too, Singapore has a very big place in my heart.
