All of our bakery items are made from scratch, in-house every day, with only the freshest ingredients. Stop in and see what's available for purchase or call a day ahead to place an order.

Desserts made year 'round:

Hermits (old-fashioned molasses cookie bars with raisins and walnuts)

Bread (white, wheat, raisin), Yeast Rolls, Biscuits

Chocolate Cake - with your choice of dark chocolate frosting, peanut butter frosting, or vanilla buttercream

Coconut Cake- with vanilla buttercream and toasted coconut

Carrot Cake - with cream cheese frosting 



We had a walk in late morning on the  beach at Roque Bluffs. It's a beautiful little State Park with a fresh water lake on one side of the peninsula and the ocean(extra photo) on the other. It was peaceful and beautiful with quite a few happy families enjoying the sun. We noticed that just a few brave souls splashed in the frigid water for a few moments at a time. 

After the walk we motored to Helen's Restaurant, newly rebuilt after a devastating fire last summer. Mojitos, fried clams as a starter, fish and chips for me with local haddock and salmon for T. We brought home a piece of the blueberry cream pie pictured above, to share...shortly.

 For the Record,
This day came in as glorious as all the others so far.
