I got up at 05:00 to watch the balloon ascent - yes, 5 in the morning OMG! I decided to wander around the Suspension Bridge rather than go to Ashton Court, the venue for Bristol's annual Ballon Fiesta.

I couldn't believe my luck when walking back to the car Dennis the Menace appeared behind one of the old-style street lamps! It would've been perfect had L.E. Electrical's light bulb balloon flown in the same direction.

I took lots of 'alternative' views this year and posted some as extras. If you haven't seen them I also caught some of the Night Glow on Thursday.
