Butterfly Meadow

I took a walk round another nature reserve I learnt about from members of a Facebook photo group I subscribe to: Horseshoe Lake, Sandhurst.  The reserve has been created from old worked gravel pits set in the Blackwater Valley. The lake itself is a watersports centre.

A wildflower meadow next to one of the adjacent lakes in the area was a magnet for butterflies.
