I learnt about a new technique today: Brenizer method.  This is a method for taking a wide-angled shot with a shallow depth of field.  I just had to give it a go when I got home.

The idea is to focus on and shoot a subject with the lens wide open, and then without re-focussing shoot additional frames around the subject.  These are then blended together in Photoshop to create a panoramic image.

Apparently, it is a popular "Wedding Photo" or portrait shot, but I was quite pleased with my first attempt here
