not meant to be

Back home from holiday means the usual jobs of lawn mowing and general garden tidying up but not before a visit to the friendly kingfisher site. It appears they are regular visitors except when I go ! My friendly ranger is doing his best to help me get a kingy shot this year but they are definitely playing hard to get. 

This Broad Bodied Chaser and the Common Darter (with added spider) in extras was all I was going to get today.
