Our life with Autism

Professor Temple Grandin

I had. Brilliant day today at Edge Hill University on
"Communication The Key to Success"
The main speaker of the day was Temple Grandin born in 1947 with autism, after spending one summer on her Aunts cattle farm she became interested in how the cattle where dipped, she went on to be a very successful designer in cattle runs.
It was amazing to listen to her talk about her life and Autism in general.

We where also entertained by a fantastic blind Autistic piano player, he asked Temple over lunch what she would like him to play, the song wasn't one he was familiar with so he went onto you tube listened to it and came back from lunch and played it, I've never seen or heard anything like it.
He also opened it up to the audience and played everything he was asked.
