Guess what...

Actually, I'm sure it's not that difficult - it's a clematis, one of those Regency-striped ones. And for me, it shows how plants which look beautiful from a distance acquire other characteristics when seen very close to. This reminds me of a sea anenome which I find fascinating but revolting.

It's been a terrible day today as regards the weather - and my mood! It's rained hard almost non-stop, been windy and cold - quite the opposite of yesterday. And the forecast is for it to remain terrible for the weekend. My plans will have to change...
