The Ecstasy of Wilko Johnson.

Went to see this powerful, emotive film today.
The film started out as a documentary of Wilko Johnson's final concert tour and last days.
Wilko had been diagnosed with Terminal Cancer and been given at most 10 months to live.
The film is mainly interviews and flashbacks and features Wilko playing chess with The Grim reaper.

Then something miraculous happened - and this is documented in the film right after the Grim Reaper had appeared to play a 'check mate' on Wilko. The films ending is not what it set out to be.
 You'll have to see the film.
Unfortunately it only has a limited run at selected cinemas (WHY???) but it will soon see the light of day on DVD.
