Today it mostly rained...

Tell a lie, it absolutely hammered it down. I don't need to come to Nepal for monsoon, we are having our very own one right here. Bloody wet stuff, doing my head in.

I'm rough, dog rough. Actually, Lottie is offended by that comment. She says I'm cat rough. I woke this morning to find I had lost my voice...we found out when I tried to call Lottie over and not a sound came out of my mouth! I had a shivvering, aching body and painful sinuses. And a throat to rub down wood with. But my neck and back...bloody marvelous! It's as if they pierced a bag of germs in my body and let all the crappy stuff out to play!

But I've had a hugely productive day at work, despite looking and feeling yuck. It's been a good week all round, lots of achievements to be chuffed with. Tonight I did a heap of work before heading to Waitrose for my weekly shop. We had another wet walk and tea and I've just had a small glass of red to sooth my aching body! No training for me tomorrow, that's a whole week without stepping a foot quicker than walking pace. It's been horrible but I can't go back until I actually feel remotely human again. I have the physio in the morning so I'm hoping he can start to feel like I am on the mend.
