Room with a view

A good afternoon discussion with Neil Hunter - the Principal Reporter of SCRA - about how our two organisations might work more closely together and what we jointly wanted to see for the children's hearings system.

This was followed by some time tonight cleaning windows. My Godmother and step aunt will be celebrating her 90th birthday this Friday. She has been blind with age related macular degeneration for some years now and I look after her affairs.

She wants to have the family back for tea after a birthday lunch. Which meant tidying up the front room and cleaning behind the secondary glazing which had been left untouched for too long.

Lots of work but the view over the city to Fife and one of the Paps provided a lovely distraction on a pleasant if slightly windy evening.

At least now the "good room" is ready for guests this weekend. And I've had some exercise!!
