We were there

I was persuaded against my better judgement to join the chaos in town and welcome the Olympic Torch to Inverness. So, they got to hold a replica, we listened to Emili Sandi (I'm totally out of touch but she was great), and we saw the teeniest glimpse of the torch imaginable! But, we were there, and it is probably the only time in our lifetime we will say that about the Olympic Torch and Inverness. We also met a few old friends we hadn't seen in ages which was excellent, but Hughie objected to being thrown from his usual routine by howling until midnight.
