a more important sporting event

School Sports Day!! And it stayed dry. Ella won all her races and Isaac didn't do badly either. This morning the school had a big outing to see the Olympic Torch pass the end of our neighbourhood, and got a much better view this time! Me and Isaac had a go of seeing it again too, and did get a better view than Saturday until some rude people pushed in front of us - aaargh!! Right at the last minute and it was too late to do anything about it. Hey ho, Isaac loved seeing all the police outriders, probably more exciting to a 3 year old boy. I tried to squeeze the Tesco shop in, in between the school run and the Olympic Torch, before running home for lunch, the nursery run, school sports, school run, Highland Dancing for Ella, dinner, bedtime then a 5 mile run for myself. Maybe too much excitement for one day...
