Was It Really So Long Ago

Mono Monday: Work

Work seems far off, us being in the second week of our holidays on the south coast. But a closer look, reveals that it is not too far away after all. Miss I has inherited a phone from Beloved and is progressing through the various settings and installing the apps that a girl needs. This is the first full day she has been able to use it.

This morning, we had decided on swimming and the Pyramids in Southsea, next to the beach. En route, beloved happened to read reviews, which indicated another choice today might be preferable. As we were heading south along the Meon Valley, we stopped at Fareham, where we discovered lessons would be starting at 11am, so on to Romsey and the Rapids swimming for a workout in the pool and down the flumes. It was busy, but the coloured band system worked well.

Before long and way before the girls were ready, lunch was calling at Gunwharf Keys, back in Portsmouth with the Grandparents. While Grandpa was getting ahead by buying a hat, Miss I sat at set to work on her phone.

Many thanks to TheAphid for hosting Mono Monday this month. The other entries for this week are here.
