Onion flower

I don't know whether I should or not, but I have let the onions I am growing for consumption this year run to flower (and seed).
This one has a visiting bumblebee.
I shall harvest the onions soon and make a judgment, unless some fellow blipper is able to advise - in which case 'thanks'.
