Tiananmen Square

Let's just say the sleeper train last night was...interesting! It was delayed by bad weather and so the journey ended up taking 16 hours rather than 12. It also wasn't particularly comfortable or clean and so we were all pleased to get off at the other end! After a much needed lunch (we were too late to have breakfast at the hotel as planned) we visited Tiananmen square which was very enjoyable. We got a bus photo there and a HUGE crowd of Asians surrounded us to take pictures of us as well! In the evening we had a traditional Peking duck dinner.
