Yellow surprise

A bright day but rather cool .

Earlier this year I ordered some plants over the internet. We expected they would be more fully developed but they turned out to be very small plugs. Some we put in the ground and others we planted outside. For a long time nothing seemed to happen - only a few small flowers appeared. Then, over the last few weeks while we were on holiday, this petunia plant suddenly seemed to blossom.

It certainly took me by surprise - I actually didn't realise that it was one of the plugs. Several others have blossomed into very healthy, substantial plants - good value for £9.00!
