caught in the web

went for a walk to take some photos this evening but it was very quiet . Hardly any birds, the joggers appear to have given up and the vegetation along the riverbank has been cut back so even the insects have disappeared. Maybe they've all gone on holiday.  I'm tempted to search for a meteor shower later but not sure if I can stay up that late and suspect it will be too cloudy here.
