Tarn Hows

An early start, so we were finishing the walk as the tourists were arriving. The driver of a large silver 4WD vehicle decided to ignore signs and go the wrong way up the single track one way road to the car park. Yes, we met him. I was so busy watching him reverse that I forgot to take a photo.

The light around the tarns was lovely but views of the fells were hazy. We spotted damselflies and grasshoppers, a heron and a buzzard. Only walked about 3 miles but I had to be home for a midday haircut.
