No scone was hurt in the taking of this photo

... and Kyra's lightning reflexes ensured that she got to eat all of her scone.
The sun shone today and for only the third time this year I went out without a jacket! Unfortunately the outing was into town in search of school uniform for Ky - a pair of trousers have been handed in to be altered so we have high hopes that she will have something to wear back to school. We rewarded ourselves with a couple of scones and since it was such a lovely day thought we'd eat them in the garden. Having gone to the trouble of whipping a little cream to go with them I was taking a quick photo, just to record our first ever cream tea in the garden, when a little head popped up to photo bomb.
Arrrggh - just spotted another first of the year, a wasp, away to do some swatting.!
