The "Library of Birmingham"
Photo panels outside the new and very distinctive "Library of Birmingham" (opened 2013). There are quite a few more panels than are shown here, and they make interesting viewing. Inside, the library is more than just a library. It is an "Aladdin's Cave" of things to explore, with nooks and crannies, and delights on every floor. It reminds me, too, of the recently-visited 'Te Papa' museum in Wellington - also an "Aladdin;'s Cave" experience.
Needless to say there is a café in this library. That, alone, pleases me. (Simple tastes huh?)
