Homebound

It seems like only yesterday we were in Heathrow having breakfast. And here we are in Dulles drinking espresso about to head home. Those two weeks went far too quickly.

A morning souvenir shopping then said goodbye to beautiful Frederick and headed north for a brief picture stop in Burkittsville. Got my picture by the sign (not the original as it was stolen years ago by Blair Witch fans) but it'll do. Think the locals, all 152 of them, are not too chuffed with the attention the town now gets because of the film. Why don't they cash in on it I wonder?

The drive to Washington was probably the prettiest of the whole vacation. Proper countryside with barns and corn fields for miles.

Got two hours until our plane boards.

Might as well blip then!
