Seagull

A very crisp and crunchy seagull made his way onto the world wide web via my blip journal today.  We've had a big day on the road with a big hold up for over an hour at one stage.  It appears that a truck lost its load and had hazardous material onboard.  Very happy to wait in line till they cleared the decks for us.  It did make for a fairly arduous trip though and we were very happy to be greeted by this lovely little seagull when we ventured onto the beach as the sun was setting.  

You just have to be patient on the roads.  This is a big message we want to send out to all of our blip buddies.  We work on NEVER being in a hurry and we always try and look at the positive side of holdups for road works and the like.  The teams are building safer roads for all of us 

We did have time however to stop at a little cafe around mid-afternoon which has a sign on the highway boasting "The Best Scones on the Coast". This sign has been there for over 25 years and yet even though I'm a scone lover, I've never ever stopped there.  After our gruelling ordeal on the road, we decided this was the time to put them to the test.  I have to report that the date scones were fabulous and I have to share the following sign which was perched up in the server area.

"Service may vary according to my mood and your attitude"

We decided we would be very courteous and smile a lot and even though their scones were wonderful, there was no point in telling them that mine beat them hands down.
