Pelican Paradise

Our final stopover last night was at Hawks Nest and we were really happy to arrive home safely at Wombat Hollow late this afternoon.  We took a slight deviation from the Sat Nav to drive along the riverfront at Tea Gardens and just as we were about to swing back onto the main road we spotted this wonderful group of pelicans who were all very happily communing on the pylon.  They weren't a bit fazed by me creeping up with my camera.  When I looked closely at the image I was highly amused by the little black dudes who have joined the group.  They look very much at home with their "Giant Friends".

We had a "Flying" Blip Meet with Jensphotos - (NewcastleDownunder) at Raymond Terrace this morning.  It was lovely to see Jen again and we were so happy to see Hamish and Hannah in such fine fettle.  They certainly gave us a very, very enthusiastic welcome.
