Friday mornings are 'quiet' in Cairo until after the Friday prayers, so Bb and I enjoyed the tranquility and got out and wandered around Zamalek with our cameras . Hot, hot hot! I now know the reason why I thought I'd been coping with the Cairo heat is that I haven't been out in it much in the daytime! We ended the day with an impromtu felucca ride at sunset. I had a few 'detail' shots taken on our walk, but decided this shot from the felucca, although not technically great, was more a record of our day.

Bb's suffering from a bit of a dicky stomach, not from anything eaten in Cairo, but he thinks from either fast food in Rome airport or airline food on the flight here. Let's hope it gets better soon. He's taking some pills bought here and recommended by some of my colleagues in the BC.
