Sineau

On the advice of the man in the car hire company, we headed to check out one of the local villages.  Ended up in the stunning village of Sineau.  Ate a delicious lunch in a little cafe overlooking the square.  The owners make fabulous smoothies and crepes, grow all their own produce and press olive oil.  Seemed rude not to buy some of the oil to take home.  Market here on Wednesday and live music in the square Friday nights.  Will have to check these out.

The locals were busy preparing for the local holiday in August.  We watched a number of 'portly' gentlemen ascend perilous ladders to hang paper chains across the square. Doubt Health & Safety police would let this happen in the UK!
