After Forty Two K's...

...one metre was all that separated them.  Both competitors were from Canada, and came through the finishing post at almost the same time. Amazing stuff after skiing for 42 k's.

My family and I headed up to the Snow Farm to see the Merino Muster ski race,   I thought it started at 11 a.m., but no, the race started at 10 a.m., so we didn't see the start, only the finish!!  The weather was perfect, no hot sun, no snow showers or wind gusts, so you couldn't ask for more of a race day.  Some people get dressed up, and I loved the outfit the girl was wearing in my extra photo today.  She took part in the 7 k race.
