After a day of constructive discussions with the Area Conveners I headed up the Royal Mile to get my bus home.

In doing so I waded through crowds milling around being entertained by musicians and musicals, stuffed sheep, dramatic performances, someone standing on a skateboard on top of a suitcase about to juggle flaming brands, an Alien. And this.

Not quite sure what was going on but the performer seemed entranced.
