Reflections

We met up for lunch today, a delish gourmet burger and then headed to a local tattoo place. J has been thinking for about a year that he would like to get one and so we ventured in to see what it was all about! :)

It was quite fascinating to see this busy place and J was very impressed. After much discussion and decisions he has booked in for October 3rd, the first available date!! He is going to have a stylised barramundi fish for a starter, palm sized, on his upper arm!! :))

After that we headed into Northbridge for a quick browse around at the Science Fair. It was very interesting and there were lots of people....and whew it was so HOT!!

The temperature just rose and rose to 27c and I could hardly bear to be out in it!! Just last week we were freezing, hard to believe its only August!!

Needless to say we escaped into an air conditioned cafe for a drink before we headed off for afternoon tea with G. On the way we passed this glimpse through the trees of Cirque du Soleil's tent and J snapped a nice shot from the car at 80k :)
