Exmoor Ponies

I went on a walk with the local walking group today covering Stage 5 of the Exe Valley Walk.  We started in Dulverton and walked along the woody River Barle valley and then up onto the downland of Exmoor to Withypool.

While we were walking across Exmoor this group of ponies suddenly ran across our path.  My extra photos include a view from Exmoor and an atmospheric wooded shot.  

Note to self use a lower ISO setting in poor light conditions.  Its always difficult to remember changing settings on the small camera as they are rather fiddly and I don't want to stop for long when walking.
